If there’s one thing that we know that kids universally love, it is the work of Dr. Seuss. This weekend, the Galleria Dallas is hosting their weekly Showtime Saturday, with a focus on Seussology 101. Showtime Saturday runs from 11:30am-12:30pm on Level 3, next to the Play Place.
This fantastical show for children will be hosted by the sister of that famous cat, and she will help your little one to spark their imagination in traditional Seuss fashion. This means puppets and rhymes aplenty, and it can be a great way to make springtime shopping a little more exciting for your kids.
Immerse Yourself In Culture At The Dallas Museum Of Art
On the first Sunday of each month, the Dallas Museum of Art opens its doors fully to the public. While the permanent collection is always free to view, Free First Sundays brings access to their special and touring exhibitions. This helps your family to experience a trove of artistic treasure without the price tag.
Free First Sundays is free for all, and the museum is open from 11:00am-5:00pm. This is a great opportunity to learn about different cultures and see how they relate to our own.
Celebrate Texan Independence At The AT&T Discovery District
Saturday is also the Texan Independence Day celebration at the AT&T Discovery District in Downtown Dallas. We love this part of town, and it has certainly grown up over the last few years. If you haven’t been down there since it was built, Texan Independence Day is a great time to do it!
