Scrooge Puppet Theatre
If you find yourself at Northpark doing some holiday shopping, make sure you stop by the space between Macy’s and Dillard’s at the bottom of every hour to see the Scrooge Puppet Theater. This show has been going on for over forty years, and it is always worth the brief stop to watch. It is free and if you have kids along with you, they’ll probably appreciate a break from shopping. Classic Christmas Movies at the Palace Theatre
There’s nothing quite like watching old movies in a historic theater. It is a testament to the power and endurance of cinema to sit in the same seats as other theatergoers over the decades, enjoying the same medium. Texas Ballet Theater’s The Nutcracker
The Nutcracker is a staple of Holiday media. Even if you haven’t seen it, you surely recognize the pieces that stem from this ballet. From now until December 26th, you can see it live at the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth. It is truly a magical show, so make sure you experience it this year. Circo Metropolis Winter Circus
Seeing a circus these days isn’t too common, so it is worth it to take advantage when one comes to town. From now until January 2nd, you can enjoy the Circo Metropolis Winter Circus at Samuell-Grand Amphitheater in Dallas. There will be clowns, acrobatics, and more all beneath a classic big top.
